Online Transformer Monitoring
DC-5M Online Transformer Monitoring System
The DC-5M system is designed for online monitoring of transformers by evaluating the condition of insulating oil, including special-purpose transformers: traction, mine, electric-furnace, marine, wind turbine step-up transformers, etc. The DC-5M system, like the DC-260D and DC-260DH systems, can operate in transformer drying mode and transformer insulation monitoring mode. The system is connected to the transformer and constantly located nearby. Upon connecting the system, a closed circulation loop is formed: the oil comes from the transformer tank bottom, passes through the DC-5M system sensors, and returns to the transformer top. The sensors measure transformer oil parameters once a minute and transmit them to a cloud server, where other parameters are calculated using the DRYCORE technique to ensure a fuller evaluation of the transformer status.

Important transformer parameters determined by DC-5M system:
- moisture content of oil at the transformer top and bottom;
- moisture content of solid insulation at the transformer top and bottom;
- dielectric strength of oil;
- oil quality index.
In order to view all the measured and calculated parameters from anywhere in the world, all you need is an Internet connection to access the password-protected web page. There you can find information about all the transformers connected to DC-5M systems.
You can view the data for any period of time. The information is conveniently presented in the form of graphs, dot charts, and labels, and transformers are displayed on a world map.
